OPERATIONS
Distribution Process Reengineering
- For a Consumer Products Manufacturer, ESG reengineered the order process for
the Canadian distribution center decreasing fulfillment time from 4 days to less
that 1 day. As part of the process change Eagle developed a new system
utilizing Microsoft Access to deliver orders. Without this change the client
would have lost their largest customer in Canada.
Lean
Manufacturing – For a Household Products Manufacturer,
I worked on a reengineering project utilizing Just-in-Time (JiT), Lean, and
Total Quality Management (TQM) principles with a Household Cleaning Products
Manufacturer. Process improvements to one of the production lines prevented a
$1.4 million investment in equipment that was previously believed necessary.
Supply Chain Creation – For a Consumer Electronics Accessory Startup, created
the supply chain from manufacturing and procurement of product through
distribution to customers. The Supply Chain included establishing relationships
with contract manufacturers in the United States and Asia, contracting
distribution facilities in the United States and Canada, negotiating freight
contracts with carriers, and developing all the underlying processes and
systems.

INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
Business Intelligences – For one client
developed a Business
Intelligence solution that will utilize information from an Epicor Avante ERP
system and other sources for a $15 million revenue manufacturer. Project
included interviewing employees individually and in workshops to create a
requirements document, identifying possible 3rd party suppliers,
organizing and managing the Request-for-Quote (RFQ) process and acting as
Project Manager for the Implementation. For another client that uses
QuickBooks, I implemented a 3rd party application that synchronizes
the QuickBooks database to a Microsoft Access database. In Access I created a
set of Business Intelligence tools that included advanced reporting and
forecasting functionality.

STARTUP
Automotive Related Business Plan - For an Auto Rental and Leasing business
that will be located in Western New York, wrote the business plan including
Industry Analysis, Description of Venture, Marketing Plan, and Financial Plan
sections of the business plan, as well as co-authoring the Organization Plan and
Executive Summary. Prior to writing the plan, conducted industry and Market
research that was utilized in the Business Plan. Eagle is currently working
with the client to secure financing for the fleet as well as putting the
processes and systems in place for the startup in late 2005.
Consumer Packaged Goods Business Plan - Worked with the founders to create a
business plan by conducting market and industry research and authoring the
Industry Analysis, Organization Plan, and Financial Plan sections of the
business plan, as well as co-authoring the Description of Venture and Marketing
Plan. For the Financial Plan, 3 years of Pro Forma Financials were created with
the first year by month and the second and third year by quarter. Eagle is
actively involved in raising startup capital by presenting the plan to potential
funding sources. The venture is expected to reach $10 million in domestic sales
by 2008.
Startup Marketing Strategy – For a technology startup developed the
marketing strategy and monthly budget. The strategy centered on Internet
Marketing such as Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Pay-Per-Click
Advertising.

Merger & Acquisition (M&A)
Corporate M&A Strategy - contributed to the development of the M&A strategy
for a client and completed the first transaction by making the initial contact,
performing due diligence, conducting financial statement analysis, creating a
valuation of the target, and structuring the deal to acquire one of its
competitors. Eagle has completed due diligence, financial statement analysis,
and a valuation for a second target.
Private Equity Acquisitions – completed due diligence for three different
acquisitions by private equity investment firms. In each case, was part of a team
with the responsibility of auditing the operational procedures and information
technology requirements, which was used to structure a transaction and create a
business strategy plan. In two of these cases, assisted the private equity
investors by holding interim management positions after the closing.
