Active Mentoring Program (AMP)

Eagle Strategy Group’s AMP is designed to provide low cost high quality solutions to budget conscious small and medium businesses.  The driving principal behind AMP is to train internal employees to identify needs, assess conditions, create solutions, implement solutions, and monitor results, while an experienced consultant serves in a mentoring role.

AMP is a flexible approach that can be utilized at any level or within any department in your organization.  An Eagle Strategy Group Consultant works as a “Mentor” within your organization.   Through group workshops and/or interviews the Mentor helps employees identify needs or areas for improvement.  The Mentor then facilitates the assessment and creation of a solution by training employees to utilize modern business principals, tools, and technology.  The Mentor then helps the employees implement the solution and monitor the results. 

The most successful AMP Projects are those that create teams that utilize people at various levels and functions.  For example a Manufacturer creates a team to improve production efficiency.  The team includes members from accounting, marketing, purchasing, traffic, and from the production floor.  The Mentor trains the team on how to document and reengineer processes using basic Lean and Six Sigma principles as well as how to measure results.  The efficiency gained through the initial changes as well as the team’s ability to continually utilize their training to make improvements results in cost savings and a company better able to withstand changes in the business environment.
